Something Very Fishy Here
The usual practice among most reputable companies when they have special offers or competitions is that all staff members are disqualified from participating.
Hence this story about Customs officials owning cars that were confiscated somehow does not sound like good ethics.
First of all contraband and seized goods should be properly auctioned off and the public given adequate notice. In fact someone from the Auditor-General’s office should be present at such auctions so that this type of story is history.
Or are the relevant authorities exercising the “close one eye” syndrome?

I am glad we are from the same church and have the same opinions and views on almost all issues.
Regarding the customs. Well, the entire system stinks, so what is there to be surprised about.

Thanks for your comments.
Guess we are products of the old school!
But we do not hold a monoploy on "doing what's good."
Our mistake is that all Malaysians have tolerated such abuse and just got too scared about changing things.
