This will look nice in White
It would be a pretty white elephant that says much about the sorry state of local councils. Everyone seemed to be interested in only the lucrative part of the project, that is the tender and construction phase.
They did not bother to tender for the operations and management of the complex while the construction was being done. I wonder why. Such a simple structure would have quite a definite completion date.
Was the complex built so that they could just use up the budget allocation? This is a local council where residents are better informed and educated. I guess the MPSJ feels that RM30m is just peanuts.
After all, no one elected them and they really don’t feel any responsibility to the residents.

Another fine example of why Selangor BOLEH MAJU??
shame, shame, shame....its plain corruption, poor planning, disregard of accountability, while we the taxpayer suffer to pay taxes, we have wonderful gov't and state officials spending cash like pouring water on the road....Cheers!
"Lee said the management company would have to bear the cost of renovations and the installation of the facilities at the premises. “But, it has to ensure that the entrance fees are reasonable."
This statement clearly shows the lack of foresight in planning. No one can make 2+2=1. If the operator invests RM2 for the renovations and another RM2 for the installation of facilities, don't expect him to charge RM1 as entrance fee and still expect him to maintain the place.
Two years down the road, the operator will be expected to lower his tender or it will be given to another crony. Then the place will be run down to ruins. Haven't we seen this before all over the country. First world facilities end up becoming like Stonehenge.
