YES! We want ALL Wrongs Set Right

The people of Malaysia have seen their basic human rights trampled with oppressive laws like the Emergency Ordinance, the ISA, the OSA and a litany of laws that curb our personal freedom and diminish our religious practices.

We have seen our judiciary pummeled and Parliament become an expensive and irrelevant rubber stamp. The police force has become dubious with their refusal of the IPCMC in collusion with some ruling politicians and the wealth of our nation, PETRONAS, has become the private kitty to implement the PM’s favorite priorities.

So we all agree with our ex-PM’s remark that we want wrongs set right.

Let’s start with the public disclosure of the following:

1. The PLUS contract award to an UMNO linked company. That was the beginning of the road to piratisation.

2. The agreements with the IPPs and why the former TNB Chairman was sacked for his refusal to the one-sided agreements.

3. The use of EPF funds to bail out incompetent companies linked to cronies.

4. The accounts of PETRONAS over the years.

5. The reason of the sacking of the High Court judge who alleged corruption in the judiciary and how the investigation was conducted.

You are invited to add to this list any other wrong that should be corrected.
