Blessed are the Peacemakers....

With a world filled with natural disasters and man-made conflicts, it is rare to find a person who contributes to peace and harmony.

Malaysia has such a person in Professor Ramasamy, who has helped two countries to achieve a peace settlement in Acheh and Sri Lanka, both of which have experienced civil war for more than 30 years.

It is therefore strange to read that this peace advisor or observer has been penalized for helping to achieve the peace agreements.

What is the message the Malaysian authorities want to send to the world? That we are not willing to promote peace?
