Flak over the Flag

It had to happen.
With so much enthusiasm or hot air generated by the Information Minister, a model was persuaded to use the flag as a body wrap and someone even described her photo as porn.

It is hardly that except that some people are plain ignorant of how to treat the flag. In fact, having too many national flags all over a building like Angkasapuri somehow reduces the dignity of the national symbol.

Instead of even the police getting involved in such a case of ignorance, perhaps the Minister should provide proper guidelines to the general public of what to do and what not to do.

You can even see that workers are not properly supervised to ensure that the flag does not touch the ground.

My view is that each building should have only one flag but you can decorate with other things like bunting, bunga raya banners etc.
Also no one is allowed to incorporate the flag into a costume.
