Can You Believe This?

The NST has a story of a school where pupils are in danger of losing their lives in a termite-infested school.

This is what happens when we give too much powers to a central authority.
And the delay has been caused by the Education Ministry which has not given the approval to construct a new building even though the school has already raised the necessary funds.

This is pure baloney.
Perhaps the ministry may be given authority to control the expansion of a school but we should not give them so much power that red tape is now exposing our children to such danger.
The school authorities should just go ahead with the building and not wait a second longer. As for the officials who have been sitting on their behinds, they should be reprimanded for dereliction of duty.
