There is Still Hope for Malaysia
I was in the queue at one of the larger supermarkets and was observing the people in the area.
There was this Chinese boy, I guess below two years of age, who was playing on one of those old coin operated ride machines.
His young mother watched nearby and based on how she was behaving, he appeared to be her first child.
Then one of the staff, a young Malay girl came and started talking to him and she appeared very happy to be with children. She spoke animatedly and then she asked him for a kiss on the cheek. And the young boy did just that.
She then spent a few more minutes before the boy left with his mother, giving her a friendly wave on the way out.
Let us hope the racist politicians do not poison both of them in future. The common folks in Malaysia are getting along just fine.
