Car Breakdown an Acceptable Excuse?

Suppose you did not turn up for work and you told your boss the next day why you did not turn up. Do you think your boss will say, “OK no problem.”

Meanwhile an important client you were supposed to meet had to go away unattended as no one else could handle the case.

It seems that the National Dadah Agency operates on this basis even though it received a budget of RM13million to promote anti-dadah campaigns. Maybe they will not show up for events but just spend the whole budget on slick advertising that no one reads?
