Timely Treatment Vital for Cancer

Cancer has become such a common disease that many of us know a relative or a friend that has suffered the disease.

Once the disease is diagnosed, the patient usually is shocked and may undergo a stage of denial. Normally a second opinion is obtained before the patient decides to undergo treatment that may have severe side effects.

Because cancer can invade all parts of the body, the medical regime can be quite traumatic with severe weight loss, hair fall-out and nausea being common side effects.

One important factor is that the earlier the cancer is detected, the better the chance of surviving with proper treatment and lifestyle changes.

You cannot just ignore the cancer and hope for a miraculous cure for God helps those who help themselves.

Just like cancer is a human can be caused by unhealthy habits like smoking or overexposure to sunlight, the cancer of corruption is caused by lack of transparency, inaction against corrupt officials and weakness in public administration.

If we do nothing to root out corruption in society, the whole system of government will become an intricate web of evil, with every officer demanding payments for simply doing their duty.

It is time we all do something to root out the cancer of corruption in society.
In the individual’s case if the doctor takes no action when the patient is sick, he is immediately replaced. In a country’s case it may be necessary to get a new team of national leaders.
