Lighthearted Advice for the Perak Cycling Association
How can you depend on the PWD to ensure that your Velodrome is acceptable to the
International Cycling Union (ICU)?
Based on past experience like the MRR2, PWD works best when structures develop cracks and pose a danger to the public.
Besides that word "homogolated" is really confusing. A speed-reader will only catch part of the word and read as “homo” and all its sexual undertones.
It could have been a case of simple misunderstanding. You see PWD approve based only on final appearance, wear and tear is good as it means more maintenance contracts and that is where the gravy is.
You mention some guys ended up with splinters and having to undergo surgery? But the PWD thinks ICU means Intensive Care Unit and no one has ended up there yet so quit complaining.
My final advice? Please check the ICU specs carefully and get a good contractor that can deliver the service with a proper guarantee.
