Join the Navy (or NRD) And See The World...
Wonders never cease. In today's Star, a Deputy Minister mentioned that NRD officials may be travelling to major cities around the globe to register Malaysians for the new MyKad.
Guess with the 5-day work week, some folks are getting creative on how to make good use of the extra time off.
To remove this problem is so simple. Just amend the law so that those who are overseas will not be penalized after the deadline. But they have to register the next time they are back home in Malaysia. Now I think I used 50 brain cells for that thought.
They are also ignorant of the fact that the government is trying to cut expenditure.
I am sure many Malaysians would like to volunteer for such trips.

But I think in Malaysia, some air-conds are set too low.
It is a strange phenomena....in warm countries the aircond is too low but in cold countries, the heaters are way too high.
How about cutting some costs by reducing the number of police outriders for VIPs?
