Three Strikes and You're Out in Malaysia?
How do we adapt the rules of baseball in running our country?
There is a long established practice in the USA where a criminal is treated more harshly by the system after he commits his third offence.
This practice is so effective that other countries have also considered implementing it.
Maybe we should ask the Cabinet to use this as the norm when they have to deal with misguided ministers.
It is important that people in authority know what standards they are expected to follow and not form a special committee every time more drastic action is needed.
Unless the intention is just to buy more time for the heat to dissipate.
