for some positive action to be taken on the Commission on the Police Report to ensure that public confidence in the Police is swiftly restored.
All those tasked to work in the sub committes should do a course in Speed Learning so that the report does not end up merely collecting dust.
Given that the report is more than 600 pages long and committees usually take a long time to decide on anything, it is important that the main drivers to implement the findings prioritise the actions to be taken into various categories like:
Urgent Action Needed Now
Important but Not Urgent
Nice to Have but Not Important
Nice and Important
If this had been done earlier, the recent case of the 14-year old being locked up would not have arisen and Malaysians can start to have more confidence in the police authorities.
Perhaps the Backbenchers Club should also take a look at what is the progress?
