SYABAS Nicol! Thank You Malaysia

Finally the government has rewarded Nicol for her achievement in becoming Numero Uno in the world for women's squash.
Our PM is indeed a humble person to compare himself to her but it was a nice gesture to personally congratulate her and also speak with her dad for such achievements are only achieved with great sacrifice of blood, sweat and tears.

Nicol is not an overnight success but one of hard work, training and persistence. She is a worthy role model for young Malaysians who aspire to become champions in whatever fields they choose.

The RM200k award will definitely help pay her expenses like coaching and proper nutrition.

As Nicol is also an A-star student, may I suggest the government also award her an overseas scholarship of her choice to be taken when she hangs up the racquet for championship squash.

I am confident she will return to serve her country well.
