May the Force Be with Us!
The inquiry into the "Squatgate incident" was told by a senior officer that the nude squat procedure was a "heritage and tradition."
One can only wonder what other traditions are there in the RMP in the light of prisoners who end up dead.
Earlier on, we were told that it is just a SOP or Standard Operating Procedure so can we presume that there is a manual somewhere titled,"The Heritage and Traditions of the Police with respect to third degrees."
Maybe the RMP crest provides a little hint of what goes on in lock-ups.
Look at the centrepiece and use your imagination.
That crossed configuration could be a prisoner tied up with hands and legs outstretched and the centre-piece could be a shield to cover-up whatever "traditional" punishments are being meted to the poor victim.
