People with Hands in Malaysia’s Coffers

No country can afford to have leaders who lack integrity. Even a wealthy country like Malaysia will go bankrupt if corruption is allowed to control all aspects of the economy.

Today’s NST shows we still have someone of courage and integrity in our maligned judiciary. The judge’s description was clear and unambiguous and he described the case as not just CBT but “an aggravated form of CBT.”

Hopefully this headline story will not end there. There is enough evidence for the authorities to take further actions to remove the scourge of corruption that is like a millstone around our national progress.

For a start, we should investigate if large sums of money have been siphoned overseas.
